At A Space Unfolds, we are committed to reducing environmental impact by using natural, healthier materials to create adaptable spaces that evolve with the people who inhabit them.


Founded by Inés Yupanqui, the studio focuses primarily on residential design, alongside institutional and retail projects. Inés holds a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University GSAPP and a Bachelor of Architecture from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá. She is a licensed architect in New York State and an adjunct professor at Columbia University’s Barnard College and NJIT, where she teaches architecture and sustainable design.
